STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
Jefferson Community Theatre is pleased to offer the Margie Scott Memorial Scholarship. Each year, when a qualified candidate presents, the JCT Board of Directors (or a sub-committee) will award one $500.00 scholarship to a graduating high school senior from an accredited public or private school or home school program, who plans on attending an accredited college or technical school (or to a prior graduate that plans to enroll within six (6) months from the date of application).
Please see below for more information about our 2024 scholarship.

Margie Scott was an integral volunteer with Jefferson Community Theatre from its inception; working on set designs, costumes, props, and as an audience member. In 2021, Margie lost her battle with cancer. Our board of directors is honoring Margie's service to both Jefferson Community Theatre and to the Jackson County at large by creating a scholarship in her memory.
