Jefferson Community Theatre does not currently offer regularly scheduled theatre classes, camps, or training. However, we are pleased to have added an Improv Workshop Series to our calendar in 2023. These workshops and performances are currently provided at no charge, and are open to the public.

This is a seven-week improv course teaching the basics of improv comedy. Students will learn the rule of “Yes, and”, and apply it to various styles of games. At the end of the course the students will perform a short improv show for any friends and/or family they wish to invite.
This is a family-friendly course, intended for adults and mature children. We will attempt to keep the subject matter clean, but with improv it is entirely possible to wander off-course. No prior stage experience is necessary.
