Nunsense 2: The Second Coming
By: Dan Goggin Directed by: Dana Harrell Produced by: David Sullivan The Little Sisters of Hoboken, those humble nuns with a touch of show biz flair, return in style with Nunsense II: The Second Coming. Presenting a high-spirited and zany "Thank You Program" for their many supporters, the sisters sing and dance their way across the Mount St. Helen's stage, which is already dressed for the Hoboken Music Society's upcoming production of The Mikado. Musical numbers include "Winning Is Just the Beginning," "There's Only One Way To End Your Prayers," "What Would Elvis Do?," "The Padre Polka," and "A Hat and Cane Song." Audition Dates: February 7 & 9 Performance Dates: April 28, 29, 30

This is a great opportunity for middle-aged and older performers! The show has roles for both singers and non-singers.
AUDITIONERS: Please come with 30 seconds of a song in the style of the show with a minus track. Please no acapella singing. An accompanist will not be provided. Sides will be provided for auditioners interested in non-singing roles. Please provide a list of conflicts from February 13th - April 30th.

Reverend Mother (Sister Mary Regina, Mother Superior)

A feisty, overweight, Sophie Tucker-type who can't resist the spotlight.
Sister Mary Hubert (Mistress of Novices)
Female, 50s

The second in command, she is always competing with Mother Superior.
Sister Robert Anne
Female, 30s-40s
Range: F#3 - F5
A street-wise tough character from Brooklyn. A constant source of aggravation for the Mother Superior.
Sister Amnesia (Sister Mary Paul)
Female, 30s-40s
Range: F3 - D5
This nun lost her memory after a crucifix fell on her head. She is very sweet. She also plays the accordion, and is the voice - spoken and sung - for the puppet, Sister Mary Annette.
Sister Mary Leo
Female, late teens-30s
Range: F3 - C5
The novice, who has entered the convent with the firm desire to become the first nun ballerina.
